All my trials are held in St Albans, I have all the products and equipment to bring your look to life ahead of your big event and ensure you feel your most beautiful when you leave my studio
The aim of a hair trial is to eliminate stress for you and I on your special day. We will have discussed your likes and dislikes during the trial and will have brought your vision to life meaning I can plan my timetable accordingly and be prepared with the correct products and tools on the big day.
Yes, of course you can! It is always best to trial as many of your party as possible to avoid stress on the day and to ensure the timings run smoothly. Due to limited space, please don't bring more than 2 people who aren't having a trial.
Time taken varies on number of participants, I like to allow 2 hours for the bride and a further hour per additional person. For other events, e.g proms, we can discuss the need for a trial during your over the phone consultation.
It is a myth that keeping your hair dirty will give it better hold, it actually won't! Please wash your hair the night before and don't apply any products, I will apply the neccessary products for your hair and desired style.
Please come equipped with photos and any accessories you wish to incorporate into your dream style, e.g veils, tiaras, fascinators, clips etc.
Of course you can! There is no limit to how many hair trials you can have, if you've found another style you would like to try out after your initial trial, please reach out to me and we can discuss.
I like to book my brides in for their trial at least 6-8 weeks before the wedding day, this is because if we trial your style too far in advance, your hair may change significantly enough to impact the final style on the day.
I am hertforshire based and I am more than happy to travel to you on your day. Travel costs may apply depending on location. For some locations It may be necessary for me to travel in advance of your event, If this is the case then I would require you to pay for my accommodation the night before. Overseas and destination weddings can be discussed and quoted accordingly.
Cancellation and payment Policy
After an over the phone consultation, I will issue you with an invoice. At which point, a non-refundable booking fee of 20% is required to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your balance on the day. The remaining balance is to be paid 2 weeks prior to your event. If there’s a failure to pay on time, a 10% additional charge will be applied as a late fee. This also applies to hair trials, a 10% late fee will be added if payment is not received within 24 hours of your trial.

I do accept out of hours jobs, e.g. A 6am start time or earlier. I am more than happy to accept this, however, I do charge a small out of hours fee which we can discuss during our consultation.
